About Betty’s Toys

Handmade with Heart, Shared with Love

This isn’t just a story about toys.
It’s a story about a grandmother, a legacy of love, and a promise we’re keeping—for her.

Betty Miller was a quiet light in the town of Burlington, Vermont. A grandmother, a dreamer, and a skilled hand-knitter, she believed that every child deserved something warm, something magical, and something made just for them. For years, she poured her love and time into crafting soft, hand-knit toys—each one unique, each one meant to bring a smile to a toddler’s face.

These toys weren’t made for profit. They were made with purpose. Betty often said, “If I can make a child feel seen, even through a stitch, then I’ve done something good.”

Before she passed away from heart disease, Betty created over 30 toys—each one intended for a child she’d never meet, but always thought of as hers. Unfortunately, as her health declined, she wasn’t able to share them the way she had hoped.

That’s where this little site comes in.

We, her family and friends, have come together to fulfill that wish. Through this simple platform, we hope to share Betty’s final creations with the world—not for profit, but for connection. For warmth. For memory.

Each toy is available at a minimal cost—just enough to cover packaging and shipping—so that they can find the homes they were always meant for. Our goal isn’t to sell, but to share. To pass on a piece of Betty’s heart to families who will cherish it.

Thank you for visiting.
Thank you for being part of her story.

With love,
